In this 60-minute online workshop, you'll learn to use Lovable — an AI-powered app builder that turns plain-language descriptions into working web applications, no coding required — to create embeddable widgets for your organization's website. We'll start with what Lovable is and how it fits into a water resources workflow, then build a live widget together. You'll choose from options like a stream gauge display, a water quality snapshot, or a monitoring site map pulling from real data sources like USGS, EPA, and others. You'll leave with a working, publishable iframe or URL you can hand to your web team the same day. Your instructor, Jon Eynon, is the founder of EcoLogik, Inc., an Indianapolis web development firm with 25+ years of experience building sites and data tools for state agencies, universities, and watershed organizations. With a master's degree in fisheries and a career spent at the intersection of environmental data and the web — including the Hoosier Riverwatch portal for IDEM — he understands both the science you're communicating and the technology that gets it in front of the public.
If you register for this event, be sure to create a Lovable account before September 15th!
