The second annual ILMS Members Only Event on May 1st attracted quite a crowd! Almost 60 ILMS members and their families and friends gathered to watch the Ft. Wayne Tin Caps (Class A affiliate for the San Diego Padres) take on the West Michigan Whitecaps at Parkview Field. We enjoyed the festive atmosphere of J. Chapman's Loft, with plenty of classic ballpark fare (burgers, brats, potato salad, apple dumplings and ice cream...). ILMS members from many different lakes were able to get to know each other. Most importantly, after trailing 5-0 going into the third inning, the TinCaps rallied to beat the Whitecaps 13-7 with more than their fair share of exciting plays! We're looking forward to making this an ILMS tradition!
